This is my first Journal entry here on Deviant Art, I have had a couple of blogs on blogger, one for my crafting blog and another for My photography and digital artwork.  I will try my best to keep this one updated.  But for my most up to date projects and lots of previous projects, check out those blogs.  Thanks for taking the time to check this one out.
Been a little busy.  Trying to perfect my mylar wings, figuring out how to add fiberoptics to my projects, Tshirts that I promised, and creating unicorn Zombies.  Anyway, here are a few pics:

My precious little Addison is turning 6 and this is what she wanted me to make her for her birthday. I love "Stuffed" Magazine from Somerset Studios and I let her choose what she would like for me to make for her.  Bless her heart, she's got my strange weird and unusual tastes.  Out of all the choices, this is what she fell in love with, which made me very happy cuz these are the kinds of things I like to make. Look closely on his hind quarter and you can see her zodiac sign.  This took me a while to come up with a pattern, I was drafting my own, wasn't happy with that, I ordered a few patterns, none worked.  Finally, I dug through my expansive collection of crafting patterns and found a dizzie dolls pets pattern, I reworked it and bam!! this is what developed.  Still gonna tweak it a little more, I want to make the head higher, she looks like she is about ram someone, which works for the Zombie theme, I guess.

Zombie Eyes,  facial scars, and skulls.  oops, need to trim a thread

I just love this little Skeleton Guy.  I embroidered several different designs on the pony.

Oh, and after I got this one made, I just couldn't send him off to Louisiana without a little friend for my other little grand daughter, Cadence, so I created this little, well, I really don't know what to call this one, but it love's it's Cadence and can ride a Zombie Unicorn, Who knew?!

This little guy was all done by hand and let me tell you, I haven't hand embroidered in a very long time,  but, I did embroider the heart on it's little butt.
The pony was mostly machine embroidered except for the scars and giant stitches.

Oh, man, I have been wanting to add fiberoptics to my masks and finally, Voila!! I love it, but, it sure is hard to get a good shot of them lit up. so please excuse the blurriness of some of the photos.  I'll be listing these in my Etsy Shop and My Artfire Studio.  I was too late to have them finished by the time Mardi Gras happened, but, I will have enough by Halloween and Mardi Gras next year.  Anyway, in the process, I have learned a lot about soft circuits, fiber optics, el wire, etc.  I can now wire my own led circuits and I think that's pretty cool.

I know, I know, the pic is a little blurry, but you get the idea.  These have really turned out cool!!

Finally, I have perfected my mylar wings. YeeeaaYaaaa!  To get the mylar to stay in the openings was really a tricky thing to do, and took a lot of digitizing an embroidery pattern, which I am not very quick at, but finally I got it.  I wanted the wings to be transparent without having to have a backing and with mylar, that wasn't easy, because it simply tears away where the needle pierces it. Anyway, after many experiments and tries, I finally got it.  for more on this visit My Crafting Blog, there are lots of pics of the process.

I have added a small feather to this one, I think I'll leave it like that
I have added Swarovski crystals and sheer organza ribbons to all of these as well.

Pink and Black, what could be more elegant.  This is the Raven mask, a design from "Urban Threads".  My daughter, Marinda really hates the beak on this mask, so, I have made some without the beak.

OOOhh Loooord!! My brother had given me some shirts to make him a few graphic tees, and what do I do, I lose the whole bag of Tees.  I searched my car, my studio, and these shirts have just flown the coup.  I thought maybe I had left them at the church, but nooooooo! they have completely vanished.  I was too embarrassed to tell him that I had lost all his shirts, but, finally, I had to come clean.  So, he gave me a list of what he had and I went and picked them up, and finally, here are some of them.  I mailed them Saturday, so he should get them Monday or Tuesday.  UUuuugghhh!! Typical Me. Just another day in the mind or lack thereof of me.

This one is for Kohl, my nephew, He is a coach at HJ in Sour Lake, Texas

Lil' Brudda Pat's "Raising Hell" shirt. This design is in my Artfire Studio and My Etsy Shop
